I was honestly not sure if the haakaa would work for me, as i never felt i had an excessive milk supply and never just "leaked" milk pre or post feeding. What i didnt understand was how this product works- by using suction to draw the milk out. It's great that it suctions to the breast so you dont have to worry about it falling off mid-feed, and i was pleasantly surprised to consistently catch an additional 20-30mL during each feed. Its also a great way to reduce a fast letdown if your baby otherwise struggles to keep up. I now use the haakaa more than my hospital-grade double pump. Definitely worth a try!
