These are fantastic. I have prolapse with my second pregnancy and need to have ice packs for swelling. These work great and have a cute little fabric pouch they slip in so the pack isn't directly on the skin.
I originally bought these for my labour and delivery - expecting a vaginal birth. Things changed quickly for me during labour and I ended up delivering my son via belly (or c section). I showed my sister these perineum ice packs when I got home from the hospital and said - what do I do with these now? She mentioned to freeze them anyways and use them on the cesarean area to help inflammation and I thought - hey why not ! The sacks they come in help reduce the cold contact on the skin and I was happy to repurpose them !
When in doubt - buy them because there are different ways to use them regardless of how you birth <3!
