Correct measurement with these garments is crucial to the functionality of the shorts. As they are a medical garment/measured sizes they do not correlate to general/fashion clothing sizes. General fashion sizes also vary drastically by country and by brand so we strongly recommend you have someone else take your measurements and use this guide to size yourself up.

Do not take your own measurement. Compression garments require accurate fit to function.

Be measured in your underwear only. Stand with your heels together and have the person measuring you keep the measuring tape straight. They should place the tape over your hips, pubic bone and bottom at the fullest part. The tape should touch. your body at all points but not be pulled tight.

Q. How do I care for my SRC Restore?

Do I need to wear underwear underneath Restore?

It’s a personal choice, the Restore garment will provide you support and comfort with or without your underwear.   

Can I wear Restore to bed?

Yes, Restore can be worn to bed.

If I am using a panty liner will I still get the benefit of Restore?

Yes, you will still receive benefits whilst wearing a liner.

Will Restore help with heaviness in the perineum?

The Restore gusset has a triple layer support panel and will provide support to the entire perineal area.

What is an Anatomical Support Panel?

Anatomical Support Panels developed and patented by SRC Health deliver targeted compression. 

If I stop wearing Restore will my symptoms of SUI and prolapse return?  

We recommend that you continue to wear your Restore garment to keep your pelvic floor muscles active thus reducing the risk of symptoms.

Do in need more than 1 pair?

Majority of our customers purchase at least 2 pairs, allowing you to wear one and have one in the wash. 

Will the Mini length help with thigh chaffing?

Yes, the Restore mini leg is quite generous in length and will help avoid chaffing on the inner thighs.  

Is the waist band tight?

The waistband is a soft narrow and non-restrictive underwear elastic and will not tighten in at the waist, providing the ultimate support and comfort.

Can I wear Restore post-delivery?

SRC Recovery Shorts or Leggings are recommended for new mothers and should be put on as soon as possible after birth and worn for as many hours a day as comfortable for the first 12 weeks postpartum to assist with fast tracking recovery after pregnancy by treating Abdominal Muscle Separation (DRAM), Perineal Tears and stitches, C-Section wounds, Sciatica and Low Back Pain. The SRC Recovery product will assist mobility and make looking after your baby easier, as well as with any stress urinary incontinence (SUI) during this initial 12-week period.

If you experience light SUI or mild uterine or bladder prolapse after this 12-week period, we recommend you a see a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to check whether you have DRAM. If DRAM is still present, we recommend you continue to wear the Recovery Shorts or Leggings until it has healed fully. Once the abdominal muscle separation is no longer present but you continue to  experiencing issues with SUI and prolapse then we recommend you transition to the SRC Restore Uterine Prolapse & Continence Treatment garment.

Will Restore be visible if I wear tight clothing?

The design of the garment and the flatlock seams ensure that Restore sits beautifully on the skin and will not ride or bunch up. The fabric is breathable and will provide both support and comfort.
