Association for Pelvic Organ Prolapse Support (APOPS) -USA

Sherrie Palm's journey to increase awareness of pelvic organ prolapse began within two weeks of her diagnosis in 2007, when she found it unacceptable a condition could be extremely common, yet shrouded in silence. Palm's 1st edition of Pelvic Organ Prolapse: The Silent Epidemic was published in 2009. As patients began reaching out, Sherrie recognized the need to establish additional support for women navigating this common, cryptic condition, and founded the Association for Pelvic Organ Prolapse Support (APOPS) in 2010.
