Correct measurement for our garments is crucial. As they are medical garments they may not always correlate to general/fashion clothing sizes. General fashion sizes also vary drastically by country and by brand (we find that an Australian XS can equate to a S or even M in American sizes) so we strongly recommend you have someone else take your measurements and use this guide to size yourself up.

We also have a video for you to reference in terms of measuring yourself correctly here:

POTS Size Guide

Do not take your own measurement. Compression garments require accurate fit to function. Be measured in your underwear only. Stand with your heels together and have the person measuring you keep the measuring tape straight. They should place the tape over your hips, pubic bone and bottom at the fullest part. The tape should touch your body at all points but not be pulled tight.

POTS Size Guide

When you stand, gravity causes blood to move towards the lower body. For people with POTS and Orthostatic Intolerance (OI), the body can have difficulty compensating for this shift, contributing to blood pooling and symptoms such as dizziness, palpitations, fatigue and brain fog.

SRC POTS & OI Graduated Compression Leggings are designed to provide medical-grade compression through the legs, abdomen and torso to help reduce blood pooling and support circulation when upright.

Graduated compression provides greater compression through the lower limbs, helping support venous return and reduce blood pooling in the legs. Compression continues upwards through the garment to provide additional support through the pelvis and abdomen.

For POTS, compression shouldn't stop at the legs. SRC's patented Anatomical Support Panels (ASP) provide targeted compression through the abdomen, helping address blood pooling higher in the body and providing support where it can make an important difference to orthostatic symptoms.

The Anatomical Support Panels incorporate SRC's True Cross Compression (TCC) technology. Each layer within the panel is cut on a different plane, helping maintain consistent compression and support as you sit, stand, walk and move throughout the day.

Compression can only help if you can comfortably wear it for the periods you need it. SRC's uniquely milled fabric has been developed to provide effective compression while allowing freedom of movement, without bulky fastenings, zips or Velcro.

Flatlock seams help minimise rubbing and chafing, while the soft, high-rise mid-torso design provides comfortable coverage without the restrictive feel associated with some traditional medical compression garments.

SRC POTS Compression Leggings are designed to continue providing consistent medical-grade compression through repeated wear and washing.

SRC Graduated Compression Leggings have been clinically evaluated in people living with POTS and Orthostatic Intolerance, with participants demonstrating statistically and clinically significant reductions in symptom burden during daily wear.

The Impact of SRC Graduated Compression Leggings on Symptom Burden in Individuals with POTS and Orthostatic Intolerance

Participants wearing SRC Graduated Compression Leggings reported significant improvements across multiple POTS symptoms measured using the Malmö POTS Score (MAPS), including:

  • Dizziness
  • Palpitations
  • Chest discomfort
  • Fatigue
  • Breathlessness
  • Brain fog and concentration difficulties
  • Muscle pain
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms

The study concluded that SRC Graduated Compression Leggings significantly reduced overall orthostatic symptom burden while demonstrating strong comfort and wearability, important for long-term adherence.

Unlike many compression garments for POTS, which can feel restrictive, hot, or difficult to tolerate, SRC Leggings were developed for prolonged daily wear.

Features Include:

  • Medical-grade graduated compression
  • High waist compression support
  • Comfortable stretch fabric
  • Breathable construction
  • Flatlock seams for comfort
  • Designed for prolonged daily wear
  • Suitable for movement and everyday activities
  • Easy-care durable fabric

Many people find that POTS compression socks alone are not enough because blood pooling can occur throughout the lower body, including the abdomen and pelvis.

SRC Graduated Compression Leggings for POTS provide waist-to-ankle support, designed to help improve circulation in the areas most commonly affected by venous pooling.

The leggings help support:

  • Standing tolerance
  • Daily mobility
  • Upright activity
  • Exercise participation
  • Symptom management during daily tasks

SRC Graduated Compression Leggings for POTS were designed to feel like activewear rather than traditional medical garments.

They can be worn:

  • At home
  • At work
  • During travel
  • During light exercise
  • During everyday activities

The goal is simple: helping people with POTS and Orthostatic Intolerance feel more supported and more functional throughout the day.

Our POTS & OI compression garments are crafted to provide support and flexibility without any feeling of restriction. Using smooth, breathable, anti-chafing fabrics, they are designed for prolonged wear without causing irritation, ensuring comfort throughout the day.

Both the shell and the lining of our SRC Compression Leggings are also made from 80% polyamide and 20% elastane. With uniquely milled, high-quality fabrics,  you can rest assured that they maintain their elasticity and shape even after multiple wears and washes. With this True Cross Compression Technology, each layer of fabric is cut differently, providing consistent and reliable compression during any activity so you never lose support.

No. POTS is a complex autonomic nervous system disorder. SRC Graduated Compression Leggings are designed to assist with symptom management and may help reduce orthostatic symptom burden as part of a broader management plan recommended by your healthcare professional.

Research suggests that high waist compression may provide better symptom relief than lower-leg compression alone, as blood pooling commonly occurs in the abdomen and pelvis as well as the legs.

SRC Leggings were designed for prolonged daily wear using breathable, anti-chafing fabrics intended to maximise comfort and adherence. They can safely be worn 24/7.

As with most compression garments for POTS, correct sizing is important. Once fitted correctly, SRC Leggings are designed to provide supportive compression while remaining comfortable for everyday use.

POTS compression garments are increasingly recognised as part of conservative management strategies for POTS and Orthostatic Intolerance.

The SRC clinical evaluation demonstrated significant reductions in orthostatic symptom burden after six weeks of daily wear in individuals with POTS and OI.

Living with POTS can make even simple activities feel overwhelming. SRC Graduated Compression Leggings for POTS were designed to support circulation, reduce symptom burden and help you move through daily life with greater comfort and confidence.

With recovery compression garments, when you are between sizes, we recommend that you select the size down to achieve the optimal fit due to likely rapid loss of fluid post birth.
