Experience relief from vulvar varicosities.
Enjoy 24-hour support designed to keep you comfortable day and night.
Vulval varicosities deserve targeted care, and our patented Anatomical Support Panel delivers just that. The Gusset Panel specifically offers crucial relief for vulvar varicose veins, as well as symphysis pubis dysfunction.
In addition, SRC Pregnancy Leggings provide effective relief from low back pain, pelvic girdle pain, and mild varicose veins of the legs, giving your "baby-carrying" pelvis the support it needs to minimize strain and prepare you for a smoother delivery.
For maximum comfort, we strongly recommend wearing SRC Pregnancy Leggings to bed, helping to alleviate morning discomfort and reduce the unsettling engorgement "rush sensation" in your vulval veins when you first get up.
Our evidence-based triple-layer gusset panel helps maintain strength in your pelvic floor muscles during pregnancy, which can contribute to decreasing the risk of Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) and Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) post-delivery. It also aids in the treatment of existing SUI and POP during pregnancy.

SRC Pregnancy Garments have been specifically designed to support your ‘baby carrying pelvis’ and reduce the stress placed on it through your pregnancy. This allows you to stay at work for longer, helps you get back on your feet and move around more easily and just generally makes you feel like yourself again.
Patented Anatomical Support Panels (ASP) in the SRC Pregnancy Garments deliver targeted compression, ideal for treating multiple conditions like lower back pain, pelvic girdle pain and mild varicose veins as well as vulvar varicosities.
They provide support to the pelvic area through gentle yet constant compression, activating muscles and encouraging core stability, reducing swelling and muscle fatigue.
The ASP deliver True Cross Compression (TCC) as each layer within the panel is cut on a different plane so that during activity no compression is lost at any time.
The triple layer compression ASP including the gusset panel, have been shown to significantly help with the pressure associated with vulval veins.
The research and development of our fabric was extensive as we wanted to ensure that it provided support and comfort with no feeling of restriction. Our uniquely milled fabric goes through rigorous independent testing to ensure that it is of the highest quality and can stretch and return to its original shape consistently after wash and wear to provide you with optimal performance and a longer lasting garment.
To make sure we deliver this we decided to test our fabric against one of the leading compression brands in the marketplace to assess whether the compression properties were sustained after multiple washes and how this compared to the other brand.
We subjected the fabric to 100 wash cycles followed by an extension test. Our fabric not only retained its original size and shape (against the competitor which shrunk significantly) but also retained the same high level of compression at the conclusion of testing.

This is a question we get asked a lot by women wondering which length and style (Over the Bump or Under the Bump) will be the best fit for their needs. Each garment has very slight variations and more than anything else, it comes down to personal preference for each customer.
Over the bump products do not have any compression over the belly, however, some women prefer to be fully covered to achieve the feeling of extra support. Both styles provide the exact same level of compression and it is up to the individual on what style they would prefer. Here’s our rule of thumb:
Under the Bump:
Over the Bump:

Why should you buy SRC Pregnancy Shorts or Leggings instead of a pregnancy belly band?
SRC Pregnancy compression garments were designed to treat multiple conditions during pregnancy; Low Back Pain, Pelvic Girdle Pain (SIJ & SPD), Sciatic Nerve Pain, and Vulvar Varicosities.
• Pregnancy belly bands simply do not treat all these conditions.
SRC Pregnancy Shorts and Leggings are more comfortable to wear than any pregnancy belly band. Because of this they are more likely to be worn for long periods which increases their effectiveness.
• Most pregnancy belly bands do not move with your body and can feel restrictive requiring constant adjustment when sitting down or getting up.
• Pregnancy belts are not always comfortable or flattering especially if you are wearing them under anything that is fitted or over your clothes.
• Many pregnancy belts have hooks, loops, or Velcro so there is a chance of snagging your clothes.
With SRC Pregnancy Shorts and Leggings there’s no risk of deactivating your muscles.
• Pregnancy belts rely on your ‘judgement’ to get the right level of compression when tightening it. Doing it up too tight and you risk muscle deactivation.
• There’s also the risk of compromising blood circulation, negatively impacting your pelvic floor and bowel function if worn too tightly or for too long.
• Belly bands should only be worn for short periods, 2-3 hours to prevent deactivation of your muscles
In some cases, you may benefit from both the SRC Pregnancy Shorts or Leggings and a pregnancy belt. If you have severe symptoms of Pelvic Girdle Pain you can wear the SRC Pregnancy Shorts or leggings all day and night, without causing muscle deactivation. During periods where you need to be on your feet for an extended time, you can combine both, by adding the pregnancy belly band over the top of the SRC Pregnancy compression garment for additional support.
Yes! We think our Pregnancy garments are your perfect sleeping companion. You will feel supported and stable as you sleep, waking up feeling refreshed. The gentle compression does not deactivate your muscles and will assist in minimizing pelvic pain.
You should wear your SRC Pregnancy Shorts or Leggings for as many hours as they feel comfortable. Your shorts or leggings can be worn both day and night.
SRC Pregnancy garments will assist with relieving symptoms of vulvar varicosities, however, for mild varicose veins and leg swelling we recommend the SRC Pregnancy Leggings rather than the Shorts Mini Length.
*Please note: SRC Pregnancy Leggings have a gentle level of graduated compression in the legs. These are suitable for women with mild varicose veins or swelling. This product will not provide enough compression for moderate or severe varicose veins of the legs.
Women often complain that wearing a grade 2 or 3 compression stocking for long periods can be difficult due to them becoming hot and tight. We hear you! That’s why the SRC Leggings were designed with a specific level of compression so that women can wear their compression stockings under the SRC Leggings for a number of hours during the day.
Once the compression stockings have been removed the SRC Leggings will continue to provide mild graduated compression so the the benefit of having worn the stockings is not lost.
SRC Pregnancy Shorts and Leggings have been designed in consultation with a leading Melbourne obstetrician, Dr. Grant Saffer. The targeted anatomical support panels fit perfectly with your natural curves and deliver consistent gentle compression.
The garment provides superior support without any feeling of restriction.
SRC Health has the most extensive and evidence-based maternity compression range in the world that has been designed by women, for women.
We are committed to implementing findings from the latest scientific and medical research into our garments to support women in their maternity journey.
SRC Pregnancy garments are registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration and endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Correct measurement for our garments is crucial. As they are medical garments they may not always correlate to general/fashion clothing sizes. General fashion sizes also vary drastically by country and by brand so we strongly recommend you have someone else take your measurements and use this guide to size yourself up.
Measure at any time during your pregnancy for SRC Pregnancy Shorts or Leggings.
Ensure you have the right size and don’t fold or roll your compression socks down, because this can make them too tight and cause circulation problems.
Make sure your foot is completely dry.
Place your hand into the sock pinching the heel pocket and turning the sock inside out creating a toe tunnel.
Place your fingers into the garment and stretch out whilst inserting your foot.
Put on a pair of textured rubber gloves to provide necessary grip to pull on the sock. Check the sock is evenly distributed from the knee through to the ankle, so that there are no creases.
Make sure that the top of the sock band is 2 fingers below the crease of the knee.
Do not fold over the top of the sock.
To remove the sock, grasp the top band and begin to slide it down the leg. Once you get to the heel pocket use the rubber gloves to slide it off the foot.
Purchased a second pair of these shorts in champagne colour to wear under lighter clothing. Literally wear them everyday!
I developed SPD at the end of my first pregnancy and it was quick to return by 15 weeks into my second. I was on the fence about these shorts but pulled the trigger, after pulling my groin, at 20 weeks. I have lived in them every day since! They provide so much support and given the groin injury I could immediately tell the difference the minute I put them on. Just be sure to measure, I would have definitely purchased too small of a size if I didn’t go off the measurements. Thinking I actually would need 2 sizes up from my non pregnant size next time.
Bought the pregnancy over the bump mini shorts and they are amazing and improve my hip and pelvic pain by up to 90% .
I never write reviews, but I had to with these. I was suffering quite bad pelvic pain in my second pregnancy (and first). I spent quite a few hundred dollars on physio, osteo and even gave acupuncture a try! Nothing provides sustained, almost immediate relief like these support shorts.
I was so hesitant as they were expensive and I was already 6 months in ... but I'm so grateful I bought them. I can actually walk my dog or take my toddler for a walk without crippling pain for days after. Even when I'm not wearing them, the pain has virtually disappeared. I'm so relieved they worked for me. I feel like I have a bit of my life back, now I can walk without pain.
I bought the over bump pregnancy shorts due to some swelling/pressure in my second trimester. I am 23 weeks and they have been supportive with plenty of room to grow into the bump. I tend to fold the bump section down so it's not too hot. In hindsight I should have got the smaller size. I am usually a size 8 and got the Small.
